I am thrilled to share this book review of Roar by Shelley Thompson who graciously sent over a copy of “Roar” – a literary gem that left me captivated. Roar is a poignant, nuanced, and intriguing story of a family grappling with grief and dealing with extraordinary circumstances displaying their dynamic. This novel contains a deep portrayal of human emotions and relationships.

Let’s dive into our book review, the book’s premise concerns Owen Michaels, his new wife, Hannah Hall, and his daughter Bailey. He leaves a note “Protect her” referring to Bailey. Right after, Owen’s boss gets arrested and a US marshal shows up to help. Hannah is also interrogated by federal agents, as they are all seeking more information about how Owen is linked with all this controversy.
