AP Lang Reads: Just Mercy – Bryan Stevenson
Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson is a profound exploration of systemic injustice and the human stories behind it. Assigned for my AP Language class, the book pushed me to confront uncomfortable truths about the legal system and consider what justice and mercy mean in an inequitable society. With every chapter, I found myself more invested in understanding how personal narratives intersect with broader systemic failures, making the call for reform impossible to ignore.
BOOK REVIEW: JUST FOR THE SUMMER – ABBY JIMENEZ
Book Review: Just For The Summer – Abby Jimenez
Just For The Summer is the cutest romance novel ever. This is what I have to say for this book, as a big fan of Emily Henry and her writing style, Abby Jimenez’s writing blew me away. Her writing has such eloquence in it and is extremely entertaining. Her characters show such raw emotion in her words and are truly relatable. I know some people find romance novels quirky and cringy, but honeslty Jimenez wrote in such an autentic and real way, that the story didn’t feel fake, I could envision every single page in front of my eyes.
